Macbeth is about three witches and the two war of Macbeth. The witches can predict the future, and when Macbeth was on the way back from the war, the witches appeared and told Macbeth that he will be awarded the thane of Cawdor and in future, he will take over the current king, King Duncan. Then the witches disappeared. On the other side, King Duncan met the Captain who just came back from the war. The Captain told King Duncan the happenings at the war. Then, the king Duncan thought of offering Macbeth the Thane of Cawdor, and asked his men to tell Macbeth about the offering. Macbeth was then awarded the name of the Thane of Cawdor. The theme of Macbeth is how ambition, reality, power and greed can overpower morality and human’s nature and purity.

I choose the Captain as my favorite character because he is funny in a sense that was already badly injured, but he can still report a lot of happenings to the King Duncan. How can a bloody man still can last so long and talk so much?

I learnt even more and understand even more about the story of the Macbeth. Now I can describe the story better, and I also known more about the character traits. In these lessons, I learnt that temptation can make people do things that they actually didn’t intend to do. Also, people like fame and wealth, and they could do anything just to get it.
